About The Game:

Nyon is a 2d Neon Platformer where you play as a mutant cat called Nyo that woke up lost in what seems to be a gigantic abandoned neon mall where everything seems off and dangerous! For now the game has 9 levels and 1 Boss.

 This Started As a jam game but i decided to turn it in an actual game with a story and everything, however, development is paused for now.

In-game tutorials improved in version 0.5.5.0!

All the music and sfx i used are copyright free.

The track names appear in the start of each level.

Known Bugs :

Sometimes when you die and the game loads you spawn a little bit far from the checkpoint and it doesn't activate.

For whatever reason if you die without it activated the game freezes in a transition screen that never appears, if this happens to you , Just press 'Esc' and continue the game.

• refactor a lot of rushed code
• make dash use keyboard  X
• Fix wall jump Inertia X
• Fix New walljump bug that sometimes happens.X
• Add Coyote Time X
• Lower the health of the strongest enemies X
• Combat system where the player can lock the enemy and auto-aims at him, so "combo-dashing" becomes easier!
• add baddass menu system
• upgrade UI X
• add the Cientist
• add text system X 
• make some tutorial levels
• make decent boss sprites.
• add more animations  and sprites
• write the rest of the story

How to play (old):

R = Restart Game from menu screen. (ESC in the new version!)

L = Loads Last Save.

A  = Move Left.

D = Move Right.

W = UP.

S = Down.

Space = Jump // Walljump.

Shift = Dashes Towards Mouse Pointer(chenged in the new version!), can be restored with Soda.

Mouse Left = Melee Attacks, the third hit restores your dash.

Hold Mouse Right = Will reflect bullets for a short period of time, has cooldown.

Important quick tips :

• You can combo the melee attacks with dashes to go high (Combo-Dashing!)
• In the fourth level you must defeat all the enemies for the purple laser to turn off!
• Turret enemies have a jump pad on top of them and will not shoot if you are higher than them!
